1. There is an alternate number 1 in this font in the bar key (not spacebar, the bar key is located with the backslash key on most keyboards) and this will allow you to use a number 1 with flags on top and bottom in situations where a straight one is confusing to students and might be mistaken for a lowercase l.
2. There is a widely spaced version enclosed for situations when you want more breathing room between each letter.
